Life is like a game of chance
Like Dice can be a symbol of romance
I roll the dice, the numbers emerge
To give us that special sudden urge
If it brings up the number one
Can that mean life is full of fun
Or if it brings up number two
Should I know just what to do
Number three now that’s amusing
Will it mean I will be losing
If it’s a four that could be bad
Could it mean that I’ve made someone mad
A five means that I am still around
Making a lot of noise and sound
The six could mean I’m in a fix
Or maybe just dealt a box of tricks
Seven maybe means that I’m in heaven
Or that lady luck is driven
Me onto number eight for sure
Which means there could be a whole lot more
Of number nine, just feeling fine
Like a special reserve wine
Then comes number ten, oh dear not again
Which means I could be in for a lot of pain
Eleven comes and passes by
Barely stops long enough to say hi
Number twelve just makes the set
Is this as far as my life will get
The dice of life rolls gently on
Ever changing like a song
Passes through our daily life
But can cut you like a knife
I will roll the dice again today
To see what lady luck brings my way
Let’s hope it’s full of luck and cheers
To increase my life span for a few more years
