Thanks to him,
my broken pieces learned to breathe again.
Thanks to him,
dark days turned into lessons,
and lessons turned into strength.
I was lost, he was the map.
I was silent, he was the song.
Thanks to him,
for the hands that stayed when everyone left,
for the words that believed in me before I did.
Thanks to him,
I know what loyalty feels like,
what patience sounds like,
what love looks like without asking for anything back.
If I am standing today,
it’s because he stood beside me first.
Thanks to him,
the storm in me found a shore.
Thanks to him,
my doubts became footnotes,
and my dreams became the headline.
He didn’t fix me —
he reminded me I was never broken.

A lovely message of acceptance. Nicely written in a form of gratitude. Well done
Means a lot 💝
You are most welcome
What a wonderful poem!
Thanks 😊
Well said. Some quotes :
--- Without the cold and bleakness of winter,
The warmth and splendour of spring there could never be.
Misfortune have steeled and tempered me
And strengthened my resolve even further.
--- Under the pestle, how terribly the rice suffers !
But it comes out of the pounding as white as cotton.
The same thing to man in this world occurs :
Hard trials turn him into polished diamond.
--- Sadness turns my dreams into a thousand tangled skeins.
An innocent man, yet I’ve been a whole year in chains.
With tears dropping on my inkslab, I compose a poem on captivity.
--- Now, poetry is something most intimate to man. It can hardly tell lies or else the poet is not a poet. So that they don’t necessarily gain by revealing their inner selves
