Say Something ...
Don’t juxtapose pretty words
because you think
they sound good together

A most true write Kurt well said
Thanks, it seems to be ruffling a lot of feathers on poetry forums which is a good thing.
Most welcome Kurt
Damn it I forgot what I was saying!
🙂
yes!!!! make it something useful or worthwhile or genuine or from emotion or the act of trying to understand something or SOMETHING substantial rather than just something that sounds pretty.
Amen. Thanks for reading and commenting.
Both guilty and exonerated in the same breath. At certain moments there is that call to wax pretty, not often but distinct as well. 🤩🕊️🙏
You're on the right track 🙂
Damn right, Kurt! 😂 Beauty and craft absolutely matter, but neither substitutes for meaning. I want to finish a poem having encountered something...an idea, an emotion, a question, a perspective I didn’t possess quite the same way before. Say something indeed, my friend! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Absolutely, stay on that track.
Will do. Have no intentions of derailing. 😏
