I close my eyes and everything is just a dream Like some how this is not a reality
I wake up and see your not there
Greeting me with love you spare
And the comfort that you cared
For the love you share
And carry that heartbreak everywhere
A piece of me died that day that you are no longer here to stay
Because you said goodbye on your very last day
Your love will always remain
Through all of life’s joy and pain
You made sure to put a smile on my face.

Sad having had dogs and lost them in the past I know what you mean.
It’s the worst heartbreak and our greatest blessings sorry for your losss sending love your way.
The lives of some shorter than others dogs have only a brief existence
Like I always say - it's no coincidence dog is God spelt backwards. They give us unconditional love.
It was nice you got to say goodbye.
And that’s Excatly true god did send us the greatest gift a person could ask for gives us the unconditional love we ask for it was the hardest goodbye.
The dog passing is always devastating, knocks you for six.
Big hugs from all the dog lovers.
Oh definitely they that say time heals wounds but it never does when your close to them. Yes big hugs to all the dog lovers.
Heartbreaking, Shirly...there’s such an emptiness when the little soul who always greeted us with unconditional love is suddenly no longer there. Yet the love they gave becomes part of us and somehow continues long after that final goodbye. Beautiful tribute, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
