I like to say i'm the moon
Or that I'm made of stars
I like to say I have a home
In the heavens ever so far
I like to think I have wings
And I like to fly far away
To the land of my dreams
A place where I can stay
But I'm not the moon.
I'm not even a star.
I'm just made of water
And of my desires
Just my parent's daughter
I'm not one who inspires
The world I belong in
No longer exists
I'm just another girl
No matter what I insist
