The Voice of an angel, in the hands of a jester:
Ethereal,
an indescribable feat carries me to the heavens.
Feels like I’m flying,
but then my bubble pops,
Ears met with laughter, cruel.
Cruel laughter.
The voice of an angel, in the hands of a jester,
Left.
To be doomed, eternity.
Feel foolish, like a clown.
Entertain the masses with your every move,
Jester.
Make them laugh with your very word,
Jester.
The voice of an angel, left in the hands of a jester.
To let it fall, break.
To let it fly, fall.
I am the clown, the fool,
Are you listening, God?
I said, I am the clown, the fool.
I am the one who sins.

A very nice write of the opposition between the angel and jester. Well done

Micah, this really hit me. There’s such a painful conflict between feeling entrusted with something beautiful and believing yourself completely unworthy of carrying it…that anguish comes through strongly, my friend. Powerful write. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
