Waiting is always considered
the greatest proof of love.
But why does no one dare to talk about
the feeling of
worthlessness,
emptiness,
self-doubt,
overthinking,
fear,
ache,
tears?
Why is waiting always considered pure?
If someone left,
it was their choice
not to choose you.
Waiting...
It's not always worth it.
What's the point of waiting
when you lose yourself in the wait?
What's the point of waiting
when finally getting it
no longer feels like joy?
What's the point of waiting
when you have to teach yourself
to be kind to yourself?
What's the point of waiting
when most of your life
is spent waiting?
What's the point of waiting
for the next train
when this one
could have taken you
to another life?
Tea grows cold
waiting for the right time.
Leaves fall
waiting for the right season.
What's the point of waiting?
When it's full of uncertainties,
When chances of good is less than things to go against your way

This is a most interesting write I guess it depends what you are waiting for and the chances that it will come. Nicely written

We grow old and die waiting for that perfect moment to arrive. Sacrificing the good waiting for the great. Very well said!
