Contemporary man
is a runner
in a grueling marathon;
the more he runs,
the farther away
he moves from the dust
of the runner ahead,
whose name is
“Peace.”

So it would seem indeed. Man has been running for millennia and it seems that the separation between he and peace has grown greater and greater. Well said.
