I Can’t Be Without You

Anthony Hanible

I can’t

Be without you

The moon

Loses light

The tide

Loses fight

The wind

Loses sight

I can’t

Be without you

My ribs

Turn stone

My pulse

Drifts lone

My shadow

Loses throne

I can’t

Be without you

Your name

A key

Your absence

A sea

Your memory

Marks me

I can’t

Be without you

The night

Drops crown

The stars

Burn down

The sky

Turns brown

I can’t

Be without you

Not in

This maze

Not in

These days

Not where

Your ghost

Still stays
