Pushing societal boundaries
and smashing well established norms
is the kind if exercise
I enjoy.
Why should we
live in a society
so uncivil
shoving our rights and feelings
into a tiny airless box
leaving us gasping for air
and with diminishing hope?
Fight the good fight
and stand up
and be counted as one
who will not be stifled or silenced;
let your freak flag fly
like a Jolly Roger
and show the world who you are!

Good one I have always been a pirate at heart. A proper message for the society of today.
Arrrrrrr! 😁
Shiver me timbers
'I'm not a Number, I'm a free Man'. As the Prisoner once said.
A fine Battle Cry for the Individual.

PS love The Prisoner! 🥳
Fränz, this one has real fire. There’s a strong refusal to shrink yourself down just to make everyone else comfortable...and I’m very much here for that. Powerful piece, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thank you!!
Pirates of the world unite, you have nothing to lose but your timidity... and a few canonballs
