Here I am, again, drinking and smoking...thinking of you-
What more can a poor man do but praise you for what you have made...
Another free man no longer a slave: to the lusts of life; and all its provision..
From him that was, and all his division..
Into a land flowing with milk and honey:
Let nothing take you away, for in your rest there is a place: a life; a truth; a way.
Don't despair my little pear,
You are so sweet to me.
What a treat, to sit at the feet, of he who is to be.

There is a touch of sweetness in this poem tempered by a bit of arrogance. Nicely written it has a good flow and feel
Wow, my friend...this is tender, spiritual, and full of gratitude. Thereโs a strong sense of being released from what once held you and finding peace in something truer. Beautifully done. ๐น๐ค๐๐ฏ๏ธ๐ฆโโฌ
