Kiss me.
Then tear open my skin.
Run your slender fingers,
Through layers of muscle,
Press your lips to my bare veins,
Taste the iron on your tongue.
The red drips from your mouth,
Down over your chin,
I've never seen porcelain and red,
fit together so perfectly.
Crack my rib cage open,
Suck the marrow from my bones.
It tastes fond.
It tastes of you.
Yank my eyes from their sockets,
Feast apoun the pleasure they feel,
When they behold you in their gaze.
Pry my skull apart,
With your loving arms.
Gently plate my brain,
And when you bite down,
All you will taste is yourself.
Press your forehead to my beating heart,
Consume me.
Feel each pulse,
It skips a beat,
Being so near to you is ineffably terrifying,
Yet so exhilarating all at once.
Scratch at my skin,
The marks raise a red pink,
What a serendipitous feeling,
Being your favorite color.
Sample every part of me,
It's all for you.
Feast apon my flesh and blood,
Your hunger for me,
Reflected in my eyes.
Love is carnivorous.
And if it meant,
That I hear,
"I love you"
Leave your lips for me,
Just one more time,
I'd let you devour my soul.

Visceral and raw the act of cannibalism often incorporates the idea of taking on the strength of the victim. This poem is as vivid as the movie Bone Tomahawk and its cannibals. Well written
