I am not a house

Allie561

I'm not a house

Stop bringing pillows and sofas

Stop bringing clothes and loafers

Stop trying to make me a home

I just framed my self worth

You took it down to put a picture of yourself

Moved my things to put up your shelf

To make YOU comfortable

I repainted my bedroom walls

She didn't like the color so she painted it red

And she got matching sheets for MY bed

When she never was invited

I finally found some things I liked

He replaced them with awards

And changed my oak floorboards

To tile and carpet

I'm not a building or an apartment

Not a place for you to make yourself cozy

I'm locking you out you're too nosy

I'm not a house
