AQUAPHOBIA

Evergreen

It feels like fire

It catches easy and it’s bright

It’s warm, it’s light

It lights my path on a cold dark night

It cooks my meals, it feeds me right

At times I think it’s all I’d ever need in life

I fear the water

It’s heavy and it’s bracing

It’s torrent, like the tide

Will it put out my fire one cold dark night?

It grows my seeds, it keeps my time

Deluge, please don’t put out my fire this night
