    Nicely written despair is never a welcome guest it always comes and stays although unwelcome just like some relatives. As a landlord it would be unbearable.

      Thank you. That is beautifully put. Despair is certainly an unwelcome tenant: it arrives without invitation, overstays its welcome, and seems determined to remain. Perhaps the best we can do is make room for hope and gently show despair the door.
