The First Date (Carlos Eleta Almarán)

Ksey_Gan

We met in the bustling city roaring

And didn't go home until morning.

Dawn’s light dimmed the stars then,

And the night wasn'tgğ enough enduring,

For us to say heartily everything...

We met in the bustling city in springtime;

Oh, the streets we walked together back in shine.

How often we said sweat goodby,

Only just to turn back once we agai

To start it all over! many time.

If only I could forget—not recall shame,

That day, that hour.

If only I could never again

Look into those eyes dear ...

But once more, the spring wind now

Rushes ait the window  out;

It flies to meet me throng,

Singing a so tender song!

Perhaps there is nothing new in my words—

This song is like thousands of others at choir;

Though it resembles the rest in  vain,

I am singing it for the very first a gained.
