Ive always been angry.
Fluctuating at different highs and lows
Im so incredibly sorry
To those I have directed this overflowing current of anger at,
Like an unobserved power line,
I thrash and squeal in the wind of others ire.
Unseeing and unknown to those around me
As my eyes shroud in an all-consuming red.
Although I’m the one
Throwing my ever growing frustration on any who come close enough—
At those who ask too many questions,
Or those who tease a little too seriously.
I’m sorry I cannot tell a joke between an insult—
It was never your fault,
Forgive me,
As I try to untangle this endless current within.

I think most people are angry. The trick is not to let the sun go down, with it.
A poem of confessed emotional reactivity and an attempt to gain control. Well done Ana Bella
