Fosh

Butter

A fish,

thought a good friend,
often finds himself distracted,
and drunk.
 As Marlins often are.

A fish,

With a silver and blue breast,
often get his long snout stuck,
in some old wooden logs.
he tests and bets
but just can’t get it right.
even if he tries every night.

He just won’t ever be very bright.

and that’s okay in its own right.

If logs were hogs (that is barrels or hog heads) I would understand. A fun read my friend

Butter, this is wonderfully strange and playful. You’ve created a lovable little disaster who continually gets in his own way...and somehow I’m still rooting for him. Enjoyed this one, my friend! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
