Ember

Anthony Hanible

Ember spark

Born from ruin

Bad fire came

Left me stewing

Smoke in lungs

Night in bone

That old blaze

Took my home

Still one glow

Won’t let go

Tiny red

Under the woe

I rise slow

Scarred and grim

Carrying ash

That came from him

Some relationships burn you down and it appears that this one did just that. Well written
