Eerily strange, the same but things change
A place I was never shown, yet familiar and known
Family I had not met, a face with caret
Ghosts of another life, same children and wife
Time knotted in distortion, twisted upon itself a contortion
In a second a year reckoned
Mixed and blended reality upended
Confusion pours through eye's windows and doors
Drowning a brain of one that was sane
