I hold you in thought as that star
which faded away in the winter night
I hold you in thought as a earth
that offered its fruit in the guilty bliss
of a fleeting moment of abandon...
we shared the forbidden as if it were
a new blood and delicious venom ...
I hold you in thought ,
like a kind of geometric pattern
imagined by a schizophrenic impressionist ,
Unfinished landscapes sketched on a canvas
haunted by Bohemian spirits .
Sometimes, I catch your gaze in a marble of flesh
who's daydreaming over a mug of dashed hopes .
I'd like to rush and say :
'' Do you remember the procession of lost illusions ? ''
And you're off again like a well-kept secret .
You had the colors of the clouds
that only a madman can perceive ...
In the great book of shadows
that have regained their angel wings ,
I seek your lingering echo ...
Birds fly across a tearful flemish sky ,
heralding your departure .
I'll be late for our meeting ...
time always clothes our thoughts
in fragments of the past .
With a surreal touch of amnesia...

lovely flow to this piece
Painting of a mental landscape ...
most vivid
Memory is a constant artistic transformation of the past.
A very delicate, melancholic, and surreal poem about memory.
with a light touch of amnesia on the canvas ...
An impressionist painting that verges on post modern. Nicely tinted with pastels
a sort of post modern pataphysics !
What an extraordinary piece, Lorenz. Love and absence dissolve into a dreamlike gallery where remembrance keeps repainting what can no longer be reached. Lush, aching, and deeply haunting, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
