Feelings Die

Kurt Philip Behm

Hell

is wherever

you happen to be

when it keeps you from what you love

Hell

is what you never say

in fear of being

censored by the club

Hell

is where

tomorrow hides

today stripped cold and bare

Hell

is where

your feelings die

— when there’s no one left to care

(The New Room: August, 2026)

To some hell is pain and death but the worst hell as set by Rome is isolation and being forgotten where even one's name is erased. A good one Kurt

What a powerful piece, Kurt. You locate damnation within separation, enforced silence, hopelessness, and finally complete emotional abandonment. As a pastor, that speaks far more truthfully to me than any threat of literal flames. Outstanding work, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
