What's it all about

boot

Naught but shite now rules the night
The pure are long forsaken
Hardy souls in hidden holds
Not long before they're taken

Eyes a'fire.. glow in pitch..
Blackness.. hides them naught
Whatever cover sought...by souls
T'is a lesson.. most forgot

Deemed a burden..children herded
Dressed in sundays best
In one ear and out..none hear
The ignorant.. divest

Innocence..blinded views..
Lessons based on lies
Taught..by those who'll never know
Yet caused themselves..the cries

Darkness covers all about
It lives above the light
The light of now..
The truth?..somehow

Can never make it right

Here metaphor in day and night portray what is revealed and hidden nicely written

  • Tristan Robert Lange

What a dark and powerful piece, my friend. You confront a society where corruption hides beneath respectability, the vulnerable are shaped by deception, and exposure arrives too late to undo the damage. A brutal indictment, James. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
