Silent and Amazed

alan b

A little boy

Silent and amazed

Stands still beneath a twisting

Shadeless tree

Contending against incomprehensible feelings

Rising from freshly cut grass.

Among silver stars

Emerging before a winter night

The laughter of drunken men

Echoes across a field

Their shadows

Fading in the twilight

Quite a scene painted it is cold and threatening yet clear and mysterious with an unknown ending. Well done
