Unto Each Life

Kurt Philip Behm

Without

the heat

there is

no light

Amidst

the dark

it hides

in spite

As every

dawn

brings hope

or pain

Its double

edge

in stark

refrain

Unto

each life

some rain

must fall

To wash

the stain

of freedom’s

— pall

(Dreamsleep: August, 2026)

As usual another great rhyme with deeper meaning. Well done Kurt

Kurt, this carries a hard-earned wisdom. The pairing of opposites gives every brief movement weight...what transforms us also leaves its mark upon us. You captured that complicated truth beautifully, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
