I could lose my home
and still hold my head up high
Brick and walls can be rebuilt
Keys can be replaced
But losing my heart
is something else
It's not a roof
It's the place I let you in
I chose you
I'm standing true
I'm giving space
Not silence as a weapon
Don't ask me to prove
What I've already given
Meet me with truth
or let me keep my grace
I've survived worse
But I don't want to survive this
I want to love through it

Some losses can not be replaced. Well written
This is truth distilled to its purest essence. It’s that refining process though that, oof, is tough to take.
