Old men gather
At cemetary gates
To say goodbye
To an old mate
The years have passed
The glory days gone
The crematorium
Bathed in sun.
In aging eyes
And whitened hair
To pay respect
To show they care
But each deep in
The beating heart
They must know
Its just the start.
One by one
They will fall
Another visit
To meet the call
The only question
Left to ask
Is who is next
For death to catch ?
