I've got my energy
I've got my skin
I've got everything
All within
I've got my heart
As frail as it gets
I've got a start, a wish
A desire for an end
Somewhere along the lines I
Must've came undone
The path I once stood on now
Seemingly gone
The past seemed so bright
And the more I try to return
I'm left with a shattered promise
Nothing to discern
I can't see a future where
I'm in it
I can't see a dream where
I am far away
I can't see an ending where
This is just one bad dream
I can't see myself
You've tried to help me
To see things through
And it was your warmth
That made me think it was true
That there might've been a reason
For my struggles
But as I slipped away, you
Left me with these troubles
Could it be that this was all me?
Could've I learned a different way?
The past seems so distant, and
I cant live for the present
All I ever wanted was
Just a reason
I can't see a future where
I'm in it
I can't see a dream where
I belong
I can't see an ending where
I've found my way
I can't see myself
I don't see myself
And I can't see a future where
I'm in it
I can't see myself
And I can't see a future where
I'm in it
I can't see myself
I don't see myself
In no tomorrow

A surreal write nicely imaged and written. Well done.
