Images on a screen. Envious of their
accomplishments. Actual humans beneath
the temporary glitter of their bittersweet
lives.
Life is but a script; scenery, plot and
mixed emotions. Association with every
type of personality to form the foundation
of your own, then finally, climax into
a sweaty coffin before being buried
by the producers.
Numerous awards are bestowed upon them
and the limelight fills their sparkling
eyes with fire but are they really happy?
Placed high above the rest yet left out
of the basics of life: the real force
binding the bourgeoisie together?
Who is really supreme? How can anyone
be the judge?
Sure, they can do what we only dream about
but are you really that desperate to give
up the people that truly love you and your
humble way of life to follow their inevitable
pattern of self destruction?
Living just to please people; and if you
don't, you're only a cold statistic and
name anyway?
So back to the streets you'll go, with just
a blurred memory of the glory there once was
...while you cook hamburgers at a fast food
restaurant!
