The body is old
But not defeated
The mind has slowed
But its not depleted
The eyes are blurry
But are not blind
The hair has thinned
But not completely gone
The ears still hear
But not as good
When you talk
Speak up if you could
The legs are wobbly
But can still walk
The voice is raspy
But can still talk
The arms are weak
But can still lift
Thoughts still come
But not as quick
The hands are hurting
But can still write
I hope that each morning
I awake from the previous night

I feel you all diminished but not yet disabled. Aging is a long process. Well done
Thank you. Actually I wrote this for a neighbor friend of mine. Pointing out the fact he was still very functional.
You are very welcome
