Until the end of the world
2 many will live on named streets.

  • Comment from author about the poem: An acrostic Scorched Sunday poem. Part of my Scorched Strays collection, Rock Band Edition. This poem draws inspiration from a band whose music imagines a place beyond human division. It turns that hope toward a harder possibility.

Good write T. Popeye Avenue, Bater Close, Ol' Tom Road, and Obi Street spring to mind! lol.

Orchi, this is exactly the sort of street directory I’d expect from you. 😂 Popeye Avenue, Bater Close, Ol’ Tom Road, Obi Street...and don't forget Jerker's Circle...somewhere the WCAT is approving signage while a certain glugger insists all roads lead to the same spinach bar. I know...I know. WCAT! Thanks, my friend. 🌍🛣️🔥🙏

This one is one of the shortest poems that I have faved but I just had to. The meaning hit hard and I agree 100%. I live where the street has no name and the house no number and feel privileged to be as much off the grid as anyone can be anymore.

Thank you so much, Soren! I’m honored you faved such a tiny poem (I debated a bit before leaving it there), and I love the irony that you actually live where the street has no name. 😂 Being that far off the grid sounds like a privilege indeed. Much appreciated, my friend. 🌍🛣️🔥🙏

Thank you so much, Syd! I’m glad the U2 nod landed and that the little twist worked for you. Always appreciate you stopping by, my friend. 🌍🛣️🔥🙏

If only my postman could define this.
Black st is White st to him, and numbers don't count seemingly.

            • Tristan Robert Lange

Thank you, Paul! 😂 If Black St becomes White St and the numbers are optional, your postman may have already achieved the nameless-street utopia U2 was aiming for. Much appreciated, my friend. 🌍🛣️🔥🙏
