I am proactive socially and make the initial overture at acquaintanceship

poet2rhyme4tommorrow

Once upon a time in a land far away
(where Teletubbies came out to play)
yours truly experienced
being painfully shy and introverted
no more noticeable
than a wallflower,
but after hearing
about Powder Milk Biscuits

heaven's their tasty and delicious
and I quote verbatim from Google

"Whole wheat biscuits
Made from whole wheat
raised in the rich bottomlands
of the Lake Wobegon river valley
by Norwegian bachelor farmers;
so you know
they're not only good for you,
but pure... mostly, hence
Buy them ready-made
in the big blue box
with the picture of the biscuit
on the cover, or in the brown bag
with the dark stains
that indicate freshness:
Whole wheat that gives shy persons
the strength to get up and do
what needs to be done, and
Heavens, they're tasty, and expeditious!"

professed and accompanied
with aforementioned catchy tagline

who hosted Prairie Home Companion.

Now that all my troubles passed away,
but the reverberations
from severe tween age
angst and depression

(analogously arduously scaling
impossible mission to cope,
falling from steep heights
once painstakingly climbing
atop the pinnacle

screaming my head off for dear life,
which nasal sounding
voice of mine echoed
across the towering adjacent peaks
while dropping as an ordinary object
in free fall near Earth
accelerating downward
at a rate of approximately
9.81 m/s² (32.2 ft/s²),
meaning my speed increased
by about 9.8 meters per second
for every second falling
into an abyss.

I never hit rock bottom
cause such a phenomena
strictly occurred within mine psyche,

where existential nihilism
punctuated equilibrium to stay alive
while mailer daemons
shook me all night long
wreaking havoc courtesy
trying to forego
absolute zero sustenance
(years later learned about
anorexia nervosa absent bulimia),
and refused to respond
as the psychiatrist Ted Goldberg,
(whose office housed
within Collegeville Counseling building -
at the intersection
of Level Road
and Ridge Pike, -
which facility as a mental health
outpatient clinic still in use).

The following prescription drugs
Elavil a brand name for amitriptyline,
an older tricyclic antidepressant (TCA),
and Mellaril, a brand name for thioridazine,
an older first-generation
(typical) antipsychotic medication
met with a nod of assent
courtesy my parents
totally tubular at a loss
how to intervene
while their second
of three offspring
and singular black hole son
unsuccessfully attempted
passive suicide,
and even to this day
suicidal ideations manage
to captcha modus operandi
how to escape
from the cares and concerns
of an uncertain world
and now voluntarily sought therapy
under the aegis,
and thru an agency
of very pleasant
mental health professionals
employed by CHE Behavioral Health.

Treatment plan focuses on
forcing myself to interact
within a social venue
within the community
(at least twice a week),
one of which happens
to be attending
The Thomas Paine Unitarian Church
to become more enlightened
thru services conducted
by the contracted minister
Andrew L. Webber,
whose eloquent
and thought provoking services
draws a healthy crowded house
located at 3424 Ridge Pike,
Collegeville, PA 19426
(though some listings
associate it with nearby
Lower Providence Township
or a Norristown mailing address),
and I (a lapsed atheist)
welcome newcomers to attend.
