Dala tielo machwanyo marach, to pod kedo.
Dala rangach madong’ gunda,
Itucho mana e kor chiel,
Dala sulwe malwar gi ber.
Dala wat, makichopo, to adhola chango,
Kata mbala manie chuny,
To pod chiwo kwe gi hera.
Dala ok ich lit ka wadu nigo,
Kata ka masira ochoponi,
Gokinyi gi kiawa.
Dala giko mar chakruok,
Dala muma mahoyowa gi hocho.
Dala mos, makata inindo kech,
To pod itemo gi nyiero.
Dala mbaka dayo mapuonjowa
Kit dhano gi kinde.
Dala en in gi an.

- Comment from author about the poem: → I created this after coming back from Kojwach. I stayed a week being surrounded by mountains and the clouds would drop so close that it nearly felt like you could reach the sky at times, that’s how far up the village was from the ground. One night I was sitting near my mother's house, the moon was out, casting a soft light on the mountains. It was so majestic! I had to mentally capture that moment. And so I did.
