Love Serves The Need
From where I've been,
There must be a road,
That leads me to never plead again
And thoughts of you no longer than before.
Today's reality of you,
natural as a felled droplet of dew,
unseen and unheard.
I will awaken to wonder,
As the beauty of the day
Discovers time as play.
Love serves the need.

A love does serve the need whether physical for association, the evolutionary to plant seeds or the emotional to feel loved and wanted. A good write my friend
Thank you. Sometimes, as in this case, the title of the poem had arrived when all the other words of the poem had been assembled.
You are most welcome
heartwarming beautifull
Love serves the need. I often revised this poem. Perhaps, with each revision, poesy served the need.
