My Little Paris
Memories of youth,
that Paris blurred in my mind,
a summer, a good life now past.
Between love and radiant beauty,
times gone by, in those stories that bubbled up
carefree, in that wild youth without limits.
In the haze of happiness, where everything was possible,
in that Paris of the summers of my youth,
where everything could be reached,
even happiness.

A blurry poem like photos from the past...

This poem holds a melancholy tied to reflections of the past where all things seemed possible compared to the present where it feels that possibilities have ended in dead ends. Nicely written Carlos
Thank you.
My pleasure Carlos
Nicely written. Your poem revolves around nostalgia, reflecting on the carefree and joyful moments of youth spent in Paris.
Thank you.
A beautiful, nostalgic reflection on youth and Paris.
Thank you
You are welcome.
London in the sixties and seventies felt much like that. However Paris... Wish I had spent more time.
Thanks for the evocation.
