Pull The Fire Alarm

Anthony Hanible

Spark starts creeping

Hall shadows sweeping

Soft whispers keeping

My heartbeat leaping

Hand hits wall

Truth cord call

Old masks fall

I break the stall

Red lights flare

Sirens snare

Dark shapes stare

Thick cut air

Calm turns storm

Fears deform

Heat grows warm

Inside the norm

Smoke climbs fast

Ghosts amassed

Old selves cast

Burn through past

Chaos bites back

Memories attack

Cracks in the track

Turn fire to black

Warnings swarm tight

Signals ignite

Wrong becomes right

I rise in night

Cord in hand

I take command

Shatter the brand

Leave what I planned

Alarm now screaming

World unsteaming

New self gleaming

Rebirth redeeming
