Burning, as white smoke rises high
and spreads everywhere,
getting into our weeping souls
to extinguish that heavy,
existing fire.
Long dark shadows
are sketching colors
from dimness to pitch black all around us.
We are sitting in the darkness
counting our days away.
These mysterious numbers,
making no sense at all,
are finally drowning
in the darkness
that descends upon us.
This air we are breathing
is thin as a sheet of paper,
which keeps ripping us apart
with every gasp we take.
It feels like we are suffocating
while we try helplessly to gasp
for this non-existing air.
Is this the burden we bear?
This is who we are.
This is what we have become.
Sometimes we just hope
we could disappear,
so no one could find us.
Feels like we are just getting lost
on these roads
that aren't heading anywhere.
Our minds' walls are crumbling,
falling in small pieces,
shattering all around.
Dissolving to nothing,
blowing away like smoke.
We used to be free.
Now we just keep paddling
through these dangerous waters,
sinking deep down
into an endless abyss.
Death keeps following us,
hunting us down,
wanting to bury us deep.
The lies we hear twist the truth,
making us believe an illusion
where reality is fabricated.
All dark words have been turned into hope.
We just want a little piece
of those promises made to us
while trying to move forward
through this mystic event
that presses through our bodies,
our silent empty words dropping before us,
vanishing all around
in this rotten country.
No one understands
each other anymore.
Spoken words
do not make any sense
while these dark,
heavy clouds are heading down
and raining upon us.
Our minds' flickering flames
are now slowly fading away.
Making reality hard to face,
haunted by
oppressive dreams of reality.
