- Comment from author about the poem: This one is pretty dark...written in my \\\"angry young man\\\" days, almost 40 years ago. \r\nDoesn\\\'t really have a title - wrote it on the back of a Pizza Hut Flyer when I was delivering \r\npizza in the middle of a snow storm in a car without a working heater and no snow boots just\r\nsoaked tennis shoes...so...yeah....good times. LOL \r\n\r\nOf course it wasn\\\'t just that one bad night that gave me that sentiment, as we all know. \r\n\r\nWasn\\\'t sure I wanted to include it but I\\\'ve already put everything else here so...why not?

It is dark but all too true representing that shadowed side not reveling the bright side it represents only half of the story. Nicely written it gives on a heavy feeling with out the relief of better days. Carpe diem I say make the best of what we've got and enjoy the trip, it might be the only one we've got.
