The solitude
That grips this night
The cigarette
I rolled too tight
The rain that falls
Like tears astray
I still wonder
Where you are today.
Memories with
A blinking eye
A quiet phase
The moving sky
Deeper down
And further still
Each sacred promise
To unfulfill.
A ticking clock
Time in a dream
Passes slow
A silent stream
Closer now
Yet still afar
I wonder still
Where you are.
