The man on the street

Paul Bell

There's a man in the street with a gun

He wants to shoot everyone

Got a grudge, got it bad

He's past the point of mad

Doesn't care who he kills

His life a bitter pill

Fires into the crowd

People fall, others crawl, some don’t move at all

More guns are on the street

Turning him into meat

He no longer wants to kill anyone

No longer has a grudge

No longer feels bad

He’s now past the point of mad

There’s a man in the street with a gun.
