I emotionally built up mind barriers like castle walls,
High vibrations are packed into my membrane stalls.
Don't catch feelings, you'll only end up disappointed,
It happens regularly to those ones who are anointed.
Been used before, no consideration equals devastation,
In my own zone, new graphics card, sold the PlayStation.
Selfish ways, the demon inside them always plays,
Liars, thieves and wicked ones ruining sunny days.
Wear my heart on my sleeve, not everyone lives like this,
Chase salvation but the snake is giving a seductive hiss.

A nice write of what we give up and what we sell or trade for pleasure. Well written Shaun
Thank you.
Very welcome Shaun
Good write SM.
Cheers!
My friend, this captures the battle between remaining openhearted and surviving repeated betrayal. The anger sounds resolute, but the pain underneath gives the poem its real power...those defenses were earned. Excellent write. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
It's a crazy life mate lol, cheers very much!
