  • Comment from author about the poem: This poem was inspired by a song, i don't remember which because i wrote it so long ago but i remember the opening line of the song was "lay your head where my heart used to be" and it inspired me to write this poem. Its about feeling heartless until your with that one person, then they become your heart. Hope you like it
