The need for love

Thornspell.Mick

I want to be loved until the loneliness lets me go.

I want your hands to find mine in the dark.

I want something real enough to fucking hurt.

I want to feel chosen, not merely wanted.

I wanna write poems on your skin with my lips.

I want your heartbeat pressed against mine like a confession.

I want the kind of closeness that makes the whole world disappear.

I want to drown in your eyes and come up still wanting more.

I want passion without fear, tenderness without conditions.

I am starving for something I can finally call home.

For someone who doesn’t flinch when I show them every broken piece.

For kisses that say everything my mouth is too afraid to admit.

For a love that burns slowly but never leaves me cold.

I want to be held like there is nowhere else you would rather be.
