Well said. I couldn't agree with you more. So many people out there using AI refuse to use it; I have no desire. We live in a world now where it's completely fake; they rob your imagination and take it to another step further.🌹❤️

I like this. Short and not so sweet. I've been putting off writing about AI and fakery myself, but you may have just inspired me.
I openly use it for images and videos and such, but I wish fellow writers would realise that all you have to do is copy and paste a poem, drop it into AI and ask for an AI likelihood score and it gives you one.
Some I've encountered on MPS are as high as 95% likely AI generated. This goes for comments on poems too. I'd rather have a genuine comment than an AI one.

I totally hear you Syd...and understand your concern. I will say AI likelihood scores are not proof...and I have found AI probability ratings to wildly off at times, but they do show how easily people can outsource things. Personally, I’m less bothered by someone using help with a comment, since confidence and social anxiety are real things and I know people who use it for such reasons. I am sure there are other good reasons, too. For me, I care more about whether the person is actually present in the exchange. LIke you, I use AI for certain things too...most of us do now...but when it replaces someone’s own creative voice or becomes a way to avoid genuine engagement altogether, that’s where I have a problem. 🏷️🤖🪞🙏

Yes, I agree with your comment. I'm not too concerned about receiving AI comments myself. It doesn’t bother me if people post AI generated poems either as long as it makes them happy. I would never publicly call out anyone for doing so. I get what you're saying about the AI checker tool too, I know it can be off but if every poem on persons profile scores really highly then there's high probability in it being accurate.

Everyone uses Ai to some extent I would suggest. I use it when my spell checker goes on strike and other minor issues informational - Syd and you use it legitimately. What isn’t is the employment of words to perpetuate lies.
You and three quarters of the contributors at this thread all agree yet make no attempt to call out or at least ignore the most egregious examples which pop up here.
AI is like a Politicians smile on the Election Trail: False and Creepy.
