Have you heard the phrase,
age is just a number?
it’s hard to grasp,
the thought of your mind,
development spanned
more than your lifetime.
It makes no sense,
til you live it yourself,
no friends my age,
all by thyself.
Adults bore me,
children too,
maybe staying alone
is easiest to do.

- Comment from author about the poem: So… in all seriousness, if anyone tells you age is just a number, definetly block them. Anyway. I was thinking, some people (especially teens) think they’re smarter than other people their age and more mature. So, it made me think of this. Dont cancel me.
