They left you in a hole with nothing but the demons from your youth and the bruises in your heart that would never heal
The walls never raised their voice to make you feel small, so why are you so afraid? You did this to yourself, right?
You don't need a tragedy to know how deep words can stab, how much they can make you feel
But tell me, does the moon ever feel bad for not always showing up? Does a machine get mad at itself for making errors?
You have been holding back floods with a body and heart made out of glass that hardly have any energy left to flee from darting eyes and voices
It's exhausting to hear people say you have your whole life ahead of you when it feels like it's falling behind.
Why were you the one left to pay for the actions of those who were responsible for raising you up and caring?
It's more than hard to keep fighting when you're barely surviving
If this is the end, I've got you with me now.
I'm not afraid because I'm no longer alone.
