The Evening Dusk

Shahla Latifi

The evening dusk,
a little bit of rain
a bit of sun
a bit of moon
dancing on the palm of the lake.
sweet melody of frogs awakened by the rush of early rain.
Where is the infinite trace of my thinking?
on the morning of past,
on the early breeze of night
or perhaps on the sunny side of the dusk
lurking from the light clouds.

Here I hear a misture of all things in dusk. A bit of day a bit of night creatures of the evening and a little bit of all. Nicely done Shahla

Beautifully atmospheric. The rain, moonlight, lake, and frogs create a dreamlike landscape, while the closing question adds a lovely sense of reflection and longing.
