Contemplations in my mind -
Their origin remains unknown
A fleeting ghost appearance
Contemplations in my mind -
Overwriting my mind
with a quiet despair,
a systemic infection that leaves nothing there
Contemplations in my mind -
Decide the path I take
They ruin resolve
I deliver a swift blow
Contemplations in my mind -
Make a clean breast of it
I am a sudden storm;
my lightning flashes fast,
and my thunder leaves a scar
Contemplations in my mind -
Wrought from gloom or gleam
Becoming who I am called to be
Be it may

One is who one is and no matter the thinking it does not change. Well written.
This felt very close to home, Cassie...especially the part about losing your resolve. Been there! Great write, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
