The moments between seeing each other, censored by glitter. Moving with the light reflected in every sparkle, I catch a glimpse of your face. Weird how those glimpses last longer than the time we spent with each other. Those flashes leaving imprints in my mind like a photogram.
What is it those photograms capture?
The face reveals. The pain, hiding in every beam. Showing up, everywhere. The glitter, hiding all dark things in every piece. This is not the face I saw.
Walking through a hallway; at the end a door, closed. The walls covered in the moments captured. The ones thought to be light, just a dark reflection. The lie, crawling farther to the top while I keep getting closer to the door. "This is it", I think. I open the door.
"Hello, Me."
