Inner Strength

Michael A. McGuire

When people pray for a quick death to

end their sorrow, they don't fully comprehend

the life-saving and healing value of their request.

You may think that your pain is too much to bear

and hope is beyond reach at the moment, yet when

Death or Tragedy silently moan through your door

to accommodate your cry of release, you draw back

into yourself and fight for your dear life!

For in your hour of trial and pain; your strength,

intelligence and character are raised to an

unparalleled height, enabling you to stand

unwavering before the darkest of demons!

So you CAN do battle! Your existence is NOT

meaningless! You WILL bear that pain and you

WILL suffer that Hell; for only when you truly

accept the fact that your life has come to a sad

and sullen standstill, will your Soul cease to dwell!

A good write many that try to take their life in the last moments regret their action and try to change their course. Many times it is a cry for help. It is those truly committed that succeed

Whew, Michael...this one went somewhere I know. I’ve learned not to underestimate what a person can survive, especially when they’ve reached the point where they thought they couldn’t take another damn thing. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
